What is Human Ground?
Human Ground is Europe's human ground for embodied AI: a neutral company that captures how skilled physical work is really done inside European businesses and turns it into data, evaluation and real-world trials for teams building robots and AI models. We don't build robots or models; we work with everyone who does.
What does "human ground" mean?
It is the place where people and embodied AI learn to work together. In machine learning, grounding connects a model to the world it acts in. For robots, that world is human work: the skill, the judgment and the edge cases of people who do physical work every day.
Why does embodied AI need real work?
Most robots still learn and perform in demos and labs. Real operations bring clutter, variation, interruptions and errors — and that is where deployments succeed or stall. However robots learn — from demonstrations, reinforcement, simulation or their own deployments — real work is where they have to succeed.
How do robotics and AI teams work with Human Ground?
We give teams access to real operations: data captured in live work, including edge cases and recoveries; evaluation against how skilled people do the same tasks; and trials where their own hardware runs in real scenarios. Data is delivered raw, processed or annotated, in the team's own format.

How is Human Ground different from other data companies?
Many data providers sell volume: large amounts of footage collected wherever it is cheapest. Human Ground works inside real European operations, measures models and robots against how skilled people actually do the work, arranges trials of your own hardware in real scenarios, and is neutral: we don't build robots or models.
How are the people who are captured protected?
Everyone captured takes part voluntarily and can refuse without their employer knowing. Captured data is never used to evaluate or discipline anyone, participating businesses stay anonymous unless they choose otherwise, and our work is not for weapons or surveillance.
